Compatibility:

  • Mazda 3 2019+ (GEN4 BP)
  • CX-30, CX-50, CX-60, CX-70

Torque Interceptor 2 is designed for the latest 4th generation Mazdas. The TI2 works with Openpilot to steer the car. It will provide you with full-speed LKAS steering, disables the "grab steering wheel warning" and provides enough torque to handle all standard roads.

This setup will also provide you with OP longitudinal control. This means your Mazda will be able to stop at red lights, stop signs, slow down for turns, and navigate autonomously.

This TI2 can be installed and removed without permanently affecting the vehicle. You plug it in and it just works!

This device is designed to be completely double redundant. It uses 4 independent functional safety(ASIL-B+) microcontrollers to modify the driver torque sensor value of the steering wheel.  Any single component failure would not affect the steering control. However, a double-component failure could lead to a loss of power steering. There is no possibility of the steering wheel overpowering the driver.
